July 2019, the trainee teacher had to display and show their research book as one among the requirements to finish teacher training, which it was called ‘Science Research Exhibition’. A day before the event, we were preparing a small table to display our books and decorating the table. Everything went well and there were many students and trainee teachers visiting our display. While some of our classmates were explaining the research to our lovely visitors, one group started to play the guitar and sing together. It was fun and joyful.
Lots of visitors turned to us when we started playing guitar and sang the song. Other visitors also joined us to sing. They even requested to play their favorite one. We were singing as a group even though it was a solo song. Surprisingly, there was one adorable boy and one lovely girl who came and danced when we were singing., bringing more fun to all.
Suddenly, one of our classmates was putting a box in front of us. Everyone doubted what it was. They stopped and rushed to the box. There was a word on ‘Donation់់’. We were surprised by that, but kept singing the song constantly. Our trainers came and donated some money. ‘What will you do with the donation?’ our beautiful asked. ‘We will send it to the orphanage if we receive a large donation.’ we replied.
It was great to have the donation box with us. Unfortunately, we received around 5 dollars I thought and couldn’t send it to any charity or orphanage with this absolute tiny amount. Then we decided to give it to you children who joined singing and dancing.
We had a fun time and absolutely enjoyed it with our classmates. We had a happy time together and built a good relationship. It was more fun when our classmate brought us the box labelled ‘Donation’. We couldn’t make it, but it was a good start to bring people a new perspective of having a donation box when they had any huge event. We hoped to do it for children in our community someday.
