| Going fishing with some friends at the countryside after teaching hour, Cambodia |
Most of the time during weekdays, I spend my time teaching at public school and preparing teaching materials . There is less time for personal pleasure activity. I am trying my best to make the weekend more meaningful by spending time with family or friends sometime as well as doing exercise.
I usually spend Saturday mornings with my two sons - Vitou, 4, and Sathapana, 2 - climbing the small hill behind our house. I can't go far away since they are still young. I could enjoy the mountain view while they are having a fun time.
Sometimes, I go out with my friends to enjoy the happy, wonderful weekend. We normally play volleyball in the city centre. We are not good players, but still enjoy it as an exercise. We sometimes go fishing in a field close to the outskirts of the city. We could have a little fish and fun time together. Our leisure activity would change according to the season as well. We hope that we will have a cycling team soon as most people in the town started to do cycling.
Weekday comes, we still miss the weekend and hope the weekend will come back soon. My two boys also wish to see the weekend either so they could go to new places nearby our village exploring, learning and meeting new things. I wish to have more time with my family and enjoy the weekend without worrying about anything sometimes.
